Precise isn't one specific product. The name refers to our manufacturing technology, and then we add the Precise brand to the name of the actual chemical ingredient it encapsulates, such as Precise acephate.

Acephate is an ideal choice to be made into Precise granules. It's a popular and effective chemical for control of mole crickets, fire ants, grubs and other insects, but liquid acephate has a harsh odor, a short residual, and exposure issues.

In granular form, Precise acephate is safe and simple to use, without the foul smell. Then applied in the soil, controlled-release Precise keeps working for months, both as a preventive treatment and to control existing insects.
